project description I studio heathfield provided a variety of architectural services from the development of design concepts through to preparing technical details, whilst working as part of a mixed consultant team tasked with comprehensively refurbishing a large period house and transforming an out- building into a home office. initially the building was ‘stripped back’ to the primary structure and then a vision for each room was developed that would create elegant but robust living spaces conducive with modern day family living. underlying the design concept through the property was a desire to marry simple quality materials with the highest levels of craftsmanship
